new sets expected by next month

As some of you may or may not know already, I will be partnering with my mom for the next month or so to create Yo-SD sets. My mom is a seamstress, so all of the work she does will be on the sewing machine. The designs will still be mine - as I will be choosing all the fabric and trim, as well as do all of the cutting - and many of the details of these sets will still be hand sewn.

Please expect to see more Yo-SD sets in early June!

On another note, I should have one last set, made by me alone, done by the end of May. Please look out for it!

on the dead livejournal

Well, livejournal isn't working for me right now, so this will be up on blogger first (as opposed to giving my f-list the first scoop?)

New Yo-SD set is up on DoA. I called it "Bunnies in Bloom".

This took me longer than usually to put up. I hope to finish another set before the move, but that's looking very unlikely right now. Next set will be up in October!

on something fancy

I'm going to be putting up a new Yo-SD set for sale on Den of Angels this weekend (either tonight or Saturday). It's going to be a bit different from my last few sets in that it's not very lolita. I haven't got a name for the set yet, but it's made out of antique coloured, embroidered, bridal mesh/tulle and is very very soft. The set include the dress itself - which is just above ankle length - as well as a white cotton underskirt and garland of flowers.

on lagging behind

Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have a whole slew of new face-up images to add to the Aesthetics gallery. I apologize! I've been terrible with updating the site.

I'm so bad. I've made a lot of purchases within the last few weeks or so. I've sold Sway's head and am replacing it with a Crobidoll Lance head. I bought Adora's head and she'll be shipping sometime next week. I restocked on MSC and new brushes as well as Tamiya pearl powder. I'm waiting on a preorder for DollHeart's Cherry Romance set for SD10/13 girls. And I'm going to be participating in a Honigdoll group order soon.

Yikes!

on casual summer attire

Frilly dresses are adorable on little girls, but sometimes it's better to wear something casual and play without worry of wrinkling your pretty dress. That is what my latest Yo-SD set, "Casual Strawberry", is all about.

It is Monday evening now and, as promised, here is the teaser picture:

on keeping up

I tell myself that it is always better to keep up rather than catch up. I don't usually follow my own advice but, in this case, I am. The gallery has been updated again! I hope I can keep this up.

One thing though... I'm still trying to figure out how I will be doing the photostories section of the gallery. Don't expect anything up there any time soon.

on strawberries + cream

I finished making a new Yo-SD set about a month ago. Originally, I was going to keep it for July, but I have decided to put it up for sale and make her one with long sleeves (to conceal the difference in resin colour between her body and the optional fist hands I bought her).

I took sales photos with Reggie, Kelly's Volks Yo-SD Chinatsu, as the model. These are up in the gallery under "boutique". Please take a look! Reggie kills me with cute.
